I’ve always enjoied hicking and did a few maintly in Asia before
I discovered a few years back an interest in treking.
Afer going through part of the Toubkal in Morroco (2015),
Snow shoeing five peaks in the Queyras region of the French Alps (2016)
and last climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (2017)
my next trip will be Nepal.
This will be by far my longest trek so far with almost 3 weeks in the Himalayas.
Because of the weight limitation to 15kg for the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla,
I have to be even more selective then previously.
Forenotes
Max weight during flight to Lukla: 15kg (hold+cabin)
Max weight carried by porter: 12.5kg
If I have some weight left, I may consider some of the optional items
although I don’t know how much the sleeping back may be.
I need to bring a bit more food (ex: breakfast) to reduce the risk
of having no option every now and then to accomodate my gluten intolerance.
Layering cloths is key to being warm and travelling light.
We should have time to wash our clothes at the end of most day
but I like to have a week(ish) supply of underwears just in case it’s not practical.
