Phakding (2610m) to Namche bazar (3440m)
First steep ascend (+1040m) and shortily longer walk.
The weather is great so it is enjoyable too.
Lots of mountaineering shops in the bazar with prices from low to high
depending on weither it is original or couterfeight.
While visiting the bazar, I buy some spikes for walking on the snow later on an a poncho just in case.
The lodge is nice and people are friendly.
There is another French group using the same agency as us.
They are on their way back though.
There still lots of time to kill so I decide to do a test cloths washing to see if I need anything else.
Not necessary to wash any cloth after so few days, but I’d rather know if I need to buy another soap or anything
before we go any higher. The more remote the place, the less options and higher the prices.
At night, we meet with the assistant sherpa guide who’s also coming back from another trek.
The French decide to have a music blind test for entertaiment…
they are very bad at this and can hardly find anything :)
Bad night again. A pack of dogs barking certainly did not help.
